Labor Day
Weekend, Sept 2-5, 2006 I took an impulsive trip to San Francisco during the Labor Day weekend and visited my buddies - Brian, Johnathan, and Yoke Wee. It's really cool because I haven't seen them forever (actually, just a little over 1 year, but felt like forever!) and so much has happened since we last met... I've always loved the SF city!!! It's the only other city (so far) in the U.S. that I would consider moving to, if I ever decide to leave Honolulu... Brian and myself did the touristy thing on the first day I was there - Chinatown, Pier 39, etc. Weather was gorgeous - sunny and not too windy... Brian said that I must've brought the Hawaiian sunshine with me. :)

Yoke Wee's Farewell Gathering Yoke Wee and I went to HPU together, and we also used to work in the same office at HPU. She moved to SF after her graduation and I haven't seen her since. She was leaving U.S. for good to return to her home country, Malaysia (also my home country) in September and I was lucky to be in SF in time to attend her farewell gathering and bid her farewell before she leaves. I was also fortunate to meet a lot of her friends, and made a few new friends of my own while visiting (Will and Jay - you guys are GREAT, so happy to meet you). I even met up with Adam Thaler, a photographer/friend that I've corresponded with for over 3 years over the Internet but just now met! It's great to finally be able to put a face to a name. What a wonderful gathering - Yoke Wee, thanks again for inviting me and Jay, thanks for having us over at your beautiful house!
The Cliff House The Cliff House has always been one of the true San Francisco icons. I made it a point to have lunch there every time I visit San Francisco. Four different variations of the Cliff House have stood on the cliffs overlooking Seal Rocks, at the Northwest corner of San Francisco. From the windows of the
Cliff House, one could see for miles down
the coast. It is also a favorite 'Kodak moment' spots for both Brian and
myself. Check-out some of the spectacular views and photos!
